Summer Blog Week 2
A wonderful week in Michelle and Grace’s home
Monday
This morning I woke up at 8:30 am. I ate breakfast in the kitchen with Grace and Michelle. There also was a guy that did a stage two years ago. After that I did my English lesson with Grace. It was very cool. Then we went to the stable. I brushed Rubix because I rode him today. We jumped, it was super great because I was alone but I know that I can do better. At 1 pm we ate, I took a croque monsieur. It was delicious like always. I had my first lesson to prepare my galop 4. Grace lived because she had a meeting and I stayed at the stables with Michelle. I put the anti- fly mask and the rugs on the ponies. And I took them to the fields with Pauline who was taking the horses. I filled two bags with hay. I had my shower, and I talked a little bit with my friends. I wrote the blog in the garden in the sun in front of Albert and Harry. It was amazing. For dinner we ate sausages with potatoes. We watched a film called “Enough” . It was very good and I went to bed for another incredible day, in this place.
Tuesday
This morning I woke up at 8:15 am. I ate breakfast ; toast with butter and apple juice. I had my English lesson, I worked on grammar. We went to the stables, and I brushed Rubix. Like yesterday, we jumped. He was amazing, for me it’s my best jumping lesson of the stage. I brushed Harry and Annie and we went to lunch. I ate a cheese, ham, salad and tomato sandwich. I had free time so I chatted with my friends, I stayed in the bedroom, I chilled. At 3pm I had my lesson for my galop. I learnt a lot of things. After this we came back to the stables. I put the fly masks on the ponies and I took them to the fields with Pauline like yesterday. I cleaned the muids of the horses. Afterwards, we went to the swimming pool with Michelle and Grace because the weather was really hot, I enjoyed it a lot. It’s funny because we met Garett and his mother so we talked. When we came home, I wrote a blog in the garden. It’s such a relaxing place. Michelle and Grace cooked. For dinner we ate pasta carbonara. It was delicious. To finish the day, I brushed my teeths and went to sleep.
Wednesday
This morning I woke up at 8;30 am, I ate breakfast, I dressed up, and I went directly to the stable. I brushed Annie, I rode her, it was amazing. We work on the training for my dressage test. We shampooed her. I came home and I did my English lesson. I translated my dressage test in English and another one which was a little bit more complicated. I really enjoyed doing this. After that I ate my lunch, the same sandwich that I had yesterday, crisps and a chocolate pancake. Michelle went to find Oliver, her son that came for two days, in the station. And Grace had a lesson. When I finished, I went to the stables and I brushed Benson, he was so cute like always. Then the girls for Wednesday’s equestrian lessons arrived. I helped her to brush Buster and Rory. I watched the lesson, and they jumped. It was so cool. After the two lessons that I watched. Then I prepared the ponies, I closed their rugs and I put on fly masks and I took them to the fields with Pauline. I came home. I had a shower, chilled and I revised for my exam. For dinner we ate chilli con carne. It was delicious. We played Uno. I brushed my teeths and went to bed.
Thursday
This morning I woke up at 8:20. I stayed a little bit in my bed. I dressed up and I ate my breakfast. I went to the stables and I prepared Annie for our lesson. We did dressage. The same exercises that I did yesterday. Afterwards, I gave her a shower because it was very hot. We went to the village to visit the home that Oliver is buying. We came home and we had lunch. I ate the same things that I ate yesterday. I had my English lesson. I spent the afternoon with Michelle and Grace’s friend in her house, it was very fun, she is very nice and friendly. There was a student named Victor, he was here for the week, he was a student like me. We designed birthday and book cards, one thing for sure I will never be an artist, but I really enjoyed this activity. We also played basketball, ping-pong ( Victor won all the games) and board games like the ludo, I won, and dominos. Grace came and we turned back home. We ate dinner, we ate salad. And they drove Oliver to the airport. I had my shower and brushed my teeths.I read my theory for my test tomorrow and I finally went to sleep, for the last entire day.
Friday
This morning was the last. I woke up at 8:30, I ate my breakfast which has been the same for two weeks. At 9 am I went to the stables, Grace wasn’t here. With Mattias we brushed the ponies. Afterwards, I rode Buster and he rode Swing, his favourite pony. It was really nice and fun but he fell off, because he wanted to grab things but swing didn’t like it. He didn’t hurt himself so that was the most important, it was fun. Grace came home, we did my last English class, it was really cool. We had lunch, I ate the same sandwich and it was delicious. At 2pm Grace had a riding lesson, so I packed my suitcase. And I went to the stables where I brushed Annie and I prepared her for my dressage test. It was great but I know that I have a lot of things to get better. The most important thing is that I passed my dressage test. The vet came and he vaccinated all the horses instead of Zulu, he will have his vaccine in august. I prepared the ponies : I put on their rugs and their fly masks. I took them to the fields with Pauline. And I brushed Zulu because I rode him. He was wonderful, we jumped a little bit for fun. It was a little bit messy but like Grace said , it would come with experience. I changed my shoes and I brought my things home so that I could put them in my suitcase. I started to write a blog. Then, Grace made me do the theory test. I had a shower. I finished the blog. We went to the restaurant, with 2 friends of MIchelle. I ate a pizza called Reine. It was delicious, like the last time. I’m sad about living, I just want to thank Michelle and Grace for these 2 wonderful weeks. I hope I come back quickly.
